Is Cubico really free for students and families?
Yes. Students and their families never pay, and there is nothing to unlock with money. The counselling practice or institution pays for the tools that let one counsellor support many students well. That is the whole model.
Why are the prices not listed as fixed numbers?
Because the right rate depends on how your practice is set up: how many counsellors, how many students, and what you already use. Rather than post a figure that would be wrong for most people, we talk it through on a short call and quote the tier that fits. The labels here describe how pricing scales, not a final number.
What is actually different between the three tiers?
Nothing about the counselling itself. The Matchmaker, the AI Counsellor drafts, the grounded Chatbot and the Briefing Engine are included at every tier. The tiers differ in scale: how many counsellors get seats, whether students are pooled across a team, and the admin, analytics, security and support a larger organisation needs.
Do you ever sell student data or charge universities for placement?
Never. We do not sell student access, and there is no pay-to-rank: a university cannot buy its way up a student's matches. A student's data powers matching and briefings for their own counsellor, and nothing else.
Does paying more change a student's match results?
No. Scoring is deterministic and identical for everyone. Fit is computed the same way on the same eight signals regardless of tier or spend. Higher tiers add team, admin and support capability. They never put a thumb on the scale.
Can we start small and move up later?
Yes. A solo counsellor can start on the simplest rate and move to a practice or institution plan as the team grows. Your students, briefings and history carry over, so you are never starting again.
